This soap is a luxury version of a basic lard soap - it is loaded with moisturizers, and more than 2/3 of the ingredients are from Solace Farm or other local farms - I use our own grass-fed beef tallow and goat milk, and local pastured lard that I render here on the farm, in addition to Shea butter, and coconut, olive, & castor oils.

I scented this soap with a blend of Patchouli and Palmarosa essential oils.  I just recently discovered Palmarosa, a unique scent - it is a grass-type plant much like lemongrass, and has a natural lemon scent, as well as a rose-like aroma.  I have never really enjoyed rose fragrances before, but I love this one!  I also love it blended with the dark, musky patchouli - they balance wonderfully and the result is neither too heavy, too floral, or too light.

This bar comes in 2 different shapes, one for women and one for men (since it really does suit both!).  There is a more feminine pink-tinted rose bar, or a natural cream-colored Celtic knot, as well as a plain square bar (either cream or pink) - simply choose which you prefer from the dropdown box.  These are all approximately 4 oz bars and are all packaged in brown paper boxes (plastic-free packaging) and the plain squares are wrapped in handcut brown paper, all with labels that include all ingredients, as listed above.

I also make this soap in a smaller 2 oz size, perfect for gifts, guest bathrooms, or just trying out the scent to see if you like it as much as I do!  These are square bars with a dragonfly embossed in the top, and come in a handcut, hand-folded origami box with lid, also brown paper.
